In the next episode of "The Big Bang Theory," Penny will land an acting gig as a bi-sexual go-go dancer who transforms into a gorilla while she and Leonard will explore the idea of marriage once again.

Penny and Leonard toyed with the idea of getting engaged in last week's episode, although they ultimately decided not to take that step in their relationship. It looks like they will flirt with the idea again in the upcoming installment, which is titled "The Gorilla Dissolution," said CarterMatt.com.

Also in the penultimate episode, Sheldon will finally come to terms with the next big move in his career and Raj will figure if he can make a long-term relationship work.

In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Steve Molaro dropped hints about what fans can expect in the final two episode of season 7. He revealed that although Laura Spencer's Emily doesn't appear in the May 15 season finale, "there will be quite a bit of discussion about Raj and Emily." Molaro added that the penultimate episode on May 8 features "a really, really beautiful scene" between Spencer and actor Kunal Nayyar that was completed "in one take... They were both so great in it and were so natural. And there was so much chemistry. [The scene] was done, and we moved on."

TVLine also revealed that Christine Baranski will reprise her role as Leonard's mother, Beverly, in the May 15 finale.

Furthermore, the EP announced that production on Penny's latest B-movie will also stars Wil Wheaton and begins while Raj's romance with Emily hits "a pretty big bump," TVLine reported.

According to a press release, the official synopsis for "The Gorilla Dissolution" states, "A bad day causes Penny to reevaluate her life choices -- including Leonard. Meanwhile, Howard and Bernadette struggle to care for Mrs. Wolowitz, and Raj gets relationship advice from Sheldon."

In addition to guest star Laura Spencer playing Emily, Episode 7.23 will also feature appearances by Steve Valentine as Kenneth, Beau Casper Smart as Travis and Kalika Kauahi as Marta, reports the Hollywood Hills.

"The Big Bang Theory" S7E23, "The Gorilla Dissolution," will air on Thursday, May 8 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
