With Easter season upon us, it was only a matter of time before a religious figure or evil counterpart showed up engraved on food. A photo was published on March 23 of a steak cut with what looks like an image of the devil on it. The picture has since gone viral.

The photo was shared by Spanish-language media site El Metichon on their Facebook page after it was sent to them. The image is believed to come from Mexico's biggest meat processor Sukarne.

“We’ve received this image where the devil appears in a rib steak from Sukarne. Good publicity for the business on this #HolyWeek and what do you think?” the site wrote in the photo's caption.

#BajaCaliforniaSur - Nos llega por un inbox esta imagen donde el diablo se aparece en una chuleta de la empresa de SUKARNE, buena publicidad para la empresa en esta #SemanaSanta y usted que opina?

The popularity of the image is most likely due to its coinciding with the end of the Christian Lent season and Good Friday, on which Catholics abstain from eating meat in preparation for Easter.
