'Game of Thrones' Season 6 New Trailer Reveals Another Character is Going to Die 'One Way or Another' [Watch Video]
The first episode of the upcoming sixth season of "Game of Thrones" isn't due for almost another month, but the excitement continues to flare up -- not that we are talking about dragons here. And now, the heightened anticipation is only jacked up with the release of the latest teaser video.
It seems like Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage, is already getting the hang of things in Westeros, judging by the new "Game of Thrones" Season 6 trailer, courtesy of HBO. "Are you afraid? You should be. You're in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying," he asked at the beginning of the latest promotional video.
Another Death is Looming on the Horizon
If there is one thing that "Game of Thrones" fans should have learned by now is not to get too emotionally attached to the characters lest they be stricken with grief, or worse, spiral into some form of depression.
Throughout the course of the show, death has been a staple. It doesn't matter if it's one of the major characters or a fan favorite, it seems like the drama series' creator George R.R. Martin has found it his cup of tea to boot out actors from the show just about every season.
The expelling of characters in "Game of Thrones" is almost as certain as "The Bachelor" depriving one of the ladies with a rose on a regular basis. So, another character in the show giving up the ghost come season 6 is not something the fans need to be given a heads-up on.
But, they did so anyway. In the new trailer, the voices of two of the characters from the show were also heard apart from Tyrion's. And, both of them just assured us about another tragic development. "We are sinful creatures. We deserve death... we all do," says Jonathan Pryce's character The High Sparrow.
And Jaqen H'ghar of the Faceless Men, played by Tom Wlaschiha, foretells, "one way or another, the gift will be given. One way or another, a face will be added to the Hall."
The Season 6 Premiere
Fans can start getting some answers starting April 24 at 9pm via HBO when the new season of the "Game of Thrones" begins airing again.
While the teaser reveals nothing much, particularly about Jon Snow, it includes some flashes showing Daenerys in the Dothraki camp and Drogon hovering over it, Tyrion sipping some wine, the Night's King in front of the wall of fire and Arya Stark with Jaqen H'ghar in the Hall of Faces.
