Atlanta, Georgia rapper Rich Homie Quan was rushed to the hospital after suffering two seizures during a music video shoot, according to sources over at TMZ, who first reported the incident.

On Tuesday evening, Rich Homie Quan was in the middle of a music video shoot with fellow rapper Problem at Atlanta's Piedmont Park.

Everything appeared to be going smoothly until Quan experienced two consecutive seizures, causing him to "smash his head badly" on the ground, TMZ reports.

Since his emergency hospitalization, Quan is reported to be in good condition and continues to recover in the hospital. A rep from Quan's camp told TMZ that the cause of the double seizures was heat exhaustion.

Rapper Problem, who was on the music video set with Quan during the time of the incident, has since sent out a tweet that reads, "Keep the little bro in your prayers."

Rich Homie Quan is best known for 2013 hit "Type of Way" which Canadian rapper Drake once named the "song of the summer," according to Billboard.

Quan was also just recently added to the coveted XXL Freshman Class of 2014 that recognizes artists who are starting to break new ground in hip-hop.
