A video making the rounds online reveals the moment a police officer, with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, punched a handcuffed women in the chest repeatedly as other officers stood by and watched.

According to multiple reports, the woman, identified as 31-year-old Mayra Martinez, was arrested on April 27 for trespassing at a bar in Jacksonville. Martinez used to work at the bar but quit a few days prior.

Officer Akinyemi Borisade was one of the officers who responded to a call about a disturbance and arrested a drunk Martinez for trespassing. Martinez resisted arrest and in the video can be seen attempting to kick the officer while handcuffed.

In response to Martinez's attempt at an attack, Borisade proceeds to punch the woman in the chest repeatedly.

While his fellow officers didn't do anything in the moment they reported what happened to their superiors and Borisade was fired. The 26-year-old cop was also charged with battery after an investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Integrity Unit.

Unlike previous incidents, where the police department has been hush about these situations, the Jackson Sheriff's Office actually released the video themselves.
