Bobby Brown has joined the wrongful death suit targeting Nick Gordon as the culprit in the death of the only daughter he shared with Whitney Houston.

Bobbi Kristina Brown died under hospice care in July 2015, some six months after she was found face down in the bathtub of the Georgia home she shared with Gordon and had to be rushed to a hospital emergency room.

The suit against Gordon seeks $50 million in damages. Bobby Brown's formal attachment to the legal action comes just days after Gordon appeared on an episode of the "Dr. Phil" show, where he talked about his girlfriend's purported drug use and revealed she had suffered several miscarriages.

Gordon Made Recent Appearance on 'Dr. Phil'

Gordon's claims and appearance on the show prompted Bobbi Kristina's court-appointed conservator to file a renewed motion against him accusing him of disregarding the court's order not to discuss the case in public.

"The defendant ignores this Court's mandates but freely discusses his role in the incident which led to the horrific injuries to decedent Bobbi Kristina," the court document stated.

The initial suit charges that on the night in question Gordon gave his girlfriend a "toxic cocktail" that essentially rendered her defenseless. An autopsy report unsealed just last month found she died from drowning and mixed drug intoxication. The actual cause of death was still listed as "undetermined."

Meanwhile, Gordon has vehemently proclaimed his innocence, though he has previously expressed guilt over not being able to come to Bobbi Kristina's aid sooner.

"I feel like I failed her," he said. "She didn't make it. I wish she got help."

Buried Alongside mom

Bobbi Kristina died after being placed in a medical coma and never regained consciousness. Her death came just over three years after her mother, who was also found face down in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel room.

Authorities later determined that Whitney Houston had drugs in her system at the time of her death. Bobbi Kristina has been buried alongside her mom at a New Jersey cemetery.
