Dr. Won Kim has established his business in the US in 1982. He has been featured on numerous Korean radio broadcast shows. He now writes health columns that is featured on famous Korean magazines.

Dr. Kim comes form a family that practiced acupuncture for three generations. Having worked jointly with them and also seperately, altogether Dr. Kim has 26 years of clinical experience.

Judy H - I've never had any acupuncture treatments so I have nothing to compare this experience to. Nonetheless, I found my experience with Dr. Kim to be wonderful - he immediately put me at ease sensing my trepidation. I also really appreciated his flexibility in working with my schedule.
I came to see Dr. Kim for problems with my Achilles. Needles with some electric current - it was like my calf muscle and Achilles were being massaged from the inside out. Immediately after, it felt less tight and with more flexibility in the calf and ankle. The real test will be when I start running again.

Dr. Kim was very good on insisting I stop working out to allow my body to repair itself. These are words I didn't want to hear but needed to hear. This approach makes much more sense to me than the Western medicine style of come in for multiple office visits for a Dx, followup and Rx for pain and anti-inflammatory meds.

Parking is also very easy (once you know) - validated, behind the building. The entrance to the street level lot is on New Hampshire. It's also much easier to take 7th (versus dealing with Wilshire Ktown traffic).

Deborra L - I finally convinced my husband to see Dr Kim for his skin allergy and eczema. He had severe itching and it was driving him crazy. His doctors could not tell him what was causing it and gave him prescriptions for strong topical steroids and allergy medications. Dr Kim doesn't treat symptoms but treats the cause which he said was inner heat. He gave my husband an acupuncture treatment, adjusted his diet a little and made him herbs. Within one week he already noticed an improvement. After one month the itching is gone. No more constant itching and worthless medications and creams. He is a new and much happier person!! Dr. kim can fix anything! I can't recommend him enough.
