Destiny is finally here. The time for the NBA Finals rematch most of NBA Nation has anticipated for roughly a year has finally come.

For Curry and the Warriors, it's a chance to put a definitive exclamation point on a season for the ages and finally answer all the lingering questions about what might have been if James and the Cavs were healthy the last time the two teams met with so much riding on the outcome.
Warriors Looking to Defend Crown
The Warriors topped the Cavs in six games last season for the franchise's first NBA crown since 1975, setting the stage for their record-setting 73 wins this past regular season.
The fact that James was essentially able to will his team a pair of victories in last season's finals without the services of either Kyrie Irving or Kevin Love have left Cav fans convinced this time things will be different.
LeBron at top of his Game
Fueled by the thought of revenge, Cleveland has raced out to a postseason best 12-2 mark and have been anxiously awaiting the survivor of the Warriors vs. Oklahoma City seven-game, classic of a series.
From the very start of the postseason, the duo of James (24.6 ppg, 8.6 rpg) and Irving (24.3 ppg, 5.1 apg) have been lights out, with the up-and-down Love (17.3 ppg, 9.6 rpg) figuring as the wildcard that takes them from good to great.
Meanwhile, to book their return engagement, the Warriors were forced to add yet another layer to their history making run. Golden State became just the 10th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 series in outlasting the Thunder in the Western Conference finals.
As always, for the Warriors it all starts with the two-time reigning MVP Curry (25.8 ppg, 5.9 apg) and his Splash Brothers partner Klay Thompson (26.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg).
In the end, Draymond Green's (15.3 ppg, 9.8 rpg) mano a mano battle with Love could tell the tale.
