'Pokémon Sun and Moon' New Pokémon Looks Like Donald Trump, According to Twitter Reactions
On Tuesday, during a Nintendo presentation at E3, a new Pokémon was revealed that bears a striking resemblance to someone running for president of the United States of America.
Meet Yungoos
As Latin Post reported on Tuesday, three new non-starter Pokémon were revealed to fans, including a short trailer and official art. One of the new names is Yungoos, known as the Loitering Pokémon. Yungoos is a normal-type Pokémon that will likely be encountered very early in the new "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" games coming later in November for the Nintendo 3DS.
Yungoos in unique in that it has an Ability not seen with previous Pokémon in the previous six generations. Titled Stakeout, the Ability allows its moves to deliver twice the normal damage to any Pokémon that switches in or enters the field midway in the battle.
Similarities to Trump?
Following the announcement of Yungoos, Twitter took quite an immediate step to compare Yungoos with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Coincidentally, Yungoos was revealed on the same day as Trump's birthday, on June 14. He turned 70 years old, while the Pokémon franchise celebrated its 20 year anniversary earlier this year.
What do you think? The new Pokémon games will have a U.S.-influence in the game - specifically it'll occur in the Alola region, which has similarities and features of Hawaii.
