There were no grand prize winners in the July 1, drawing rolling the then $390 million jackpot over into Tuesday's game, where a single game winner will have the option of walking away with a onetime, cash option lump sum payment of $313 million.

The winning numbers in the July 1 drawing were 20, 41, 42, 45 and 49 and the winning Gold Mega Ball number was 14 and the Megplier was 2.

Six Players won $1 Million Each 

Six players matched all five white ball numbers in last Friday's game, earning prizes of $1 million each. Two of those players also matched the Megaplier, increasing their winnings to $2 million.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 259 million.

Powerball Jackpot at $257 Million 

Meanwhile, the next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday night, July 6, with an estimated jackpot of $257 million and a cash option of $179.9 million.

The last Mega Millions jackpot winner was on March 8, when a winning ticket was sold in the Washington state area. The all-time record Mega Millions jackpot was bagged on March 30, 2012, when three winners shared a jackpot of $656 million.

The winning numbers in the July 2 drawing were 10, 34, 39, 59 and 63 and the Red Powerball number was 4. The winning Power Play number was 2.
