That didn't take long.

After a one day hiatus, Demi Lovato has returned to social media with a bang.

Lovato Comes to Jennifer Lopez's Defense

The 23-year-old "Heart Attack" singer recently announced she was signing off her platforms for good after she suffered some criticisms after blasting Mariah Carey over her treatment of other celebrities, most notably longtime pal Jennifer Lopez.

"F-k this. I'm back bitches," Lovato wrote in the post that marked her defiant return. "And I'm coming back more honest than ever."

While Lovato never addressed the reason behind her brief departure, it was widely assumed it had to do with the backlash she faced over her harsh assessment of the legendary Carey.

"She constantly disses people," Lovato tweeted. "It's nasty the way she treats Jennifer."

Later, she again took to Twitter to defend herself from some of the criticism she received before logging off for good--- or at least what proved to be 24 hours.

Carey, Lopez Feud Ongoing

The running feud between Carey and Lopez has been well documented. The "Hero" singer once went as far as to insist she didn't know who Lopez was, prompting Lopez to finally weigh in on all the madness in a 2014 interview with talk show Andy Cohen.

"I know from back in the day, I've read things that she's said about me that were not the greatest," she said. "Like, we don't know each other. I think it's kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I'm not really aware of."

Lovato has also engaged in war of words battles with other such big-name stars as Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Pink.
