UPDATE - July 22, 2016 - 11:00 p.m. ET: The winning numbers for Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot are 8, 24, 25, 26, 30 and the megaball is 7. The megaplier is 4x.
The Friday July 22, Mega Millions drawing will have a jackpot of $15 million after a player from the state of Washington cashed in on the $25 million grand prize earlier in the week.
A single winner in the July 22 game will have the option of walking away with a onetime, cash option payment of $10 million. Make sure to check back at this page at 11 p.m. ET as Friday's winning numbers will be posted in real time.
Million Dollar Winner
The winning numbers in the July 19 game were 3, 34, 54, 65 and 66. The winning Gold Mega Ball number was 4 and the Megaplier was 5. In last Tuesday's game, one player also matched all five white ball numbers, earning a prize of $1 million.
Overall, just short of 18,000 players won prizes of at least $2 each. You can watch a live stream of Friday's night's draw.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 259 million.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each.
Powerball Jackpot at $390 Million
Meanwhile, the next Powerball drawing is slated for Saturday night, July 23, with a jackpot of $390 million.
A single game winner will have the option of cashing in on a $270.5 million cash option payment after there were no grand prize winners in the July 20, $360 million game.
The winning numbers in the July 20 game were 6, 25, 35, 58 and 66. The winning Powerball number was 5 and the Power Play number was 2x.
