Hillary Clinton's newly named running-mate Tim Kaine and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren are among the individuals that have been added to the list of featured speakers for the upcoming Democratic National Convention.
The four day event formally kicks off on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Philadelphia with vice presidential nominee Kaine slated to speak in prime-time on Wednesday.
Clinton's Tough Choice
Clinton formally tabbed the former Virginia governor as her running mate on Friday, July 22, settling on him from a pool that also included the widely popular and liberal-minded Warren as a finalist.
Throughout the campaign season, Warren's populist message about income inequality and Wall Street abuses resonated with many voters.

John Hickenlooper, another VP finalist, and Senators Sherrod Brown (Ohio), Corey Booker (New Jersey), Bob Casey (Pennsylvania), Kirsten Gillibrand (New York), Amy Klobuchar (Minnesota), Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire) and Harry Reid.
The festivities kick off on Monday when First Lady Michelle Obama and primary foe Bernie Sanders are both scheduled to take the stage for a night of speeches billed as "United Together." You can watch a live stream of the events here.
