Messi of course lost in the final of the Copa while Ronaldo lifted the Euro title a few weeks later.

 Despite the absence of the two greatest players in the world, the spotlight will be on Angel Correa, the Argentine forward that is largely viewed as a big part of his country's future. In a game that lacks major star wattage, Correa is the answer, likely providing the game with the excitement it would otherwise lack.

 Look for Correa to run the show and put up a few goals as Argentina takes down Portugal 3-1.
