Bayern Munich and Real Madrid face off in the International Champions on Wednesday.

The match pits Carlo Ancelotti against his former side. The Italian manager famously led Real Madrid to a double in 2013-14, including the long-awaited Decima in the Champions League. Ancelotti of course led his team past Munich in the semifinals, winning 4-0 on aggregate. Of course he followed that season up with a lengthy unbeaten run before seeing his team burn out and end the year without a trophy. He was promptly sacked but is back with Munich after a year-long hiatus.

Real Madrid is now under Zinedine Zidane, who was Ancelotti's assistant during the 2013-14 season. His team was destroyed 3-1 in its preseason opener against PSG but recovered in a recent win over Chelsea. That game was fueled an impressive offensive effort from Marcelo who scored two goals in the 3-2 win.

Predictions:

Bayern Munich wins 2-1, though expect an entertaining affair between both sides.
