Brazil vs. China Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Olympics 2016
The woman's Brazil team looks to kick off its Olympic tournament in style when it takes on China.
Brazil has never won the Olympic Gold and the team knows that this tournament, on its own home soil, might be its best shot at pulling off the feat. The team finished fourth in 1996 and 2000 before managing to be runner-ups in 2004 and 2008. The 2012 Olympics saw the team finish an embarrassing sixth place, its worst finish in the Olympics.
China finished as the runner-up in 1996 but crashed out in the group stages between 2000 and 2004. The nation hosted the Olympics in 2008, where China finished in the quarterfinals. However the team did not qualify for the 2012 Olympics and will be looking for redemption in these games.
China is currently ranked 12th in the world according to FIFA while Brazil has a world ranking of eighth.
Predictions:
Brazil should win this match with little difficulty. Look for a 3-0 win from the woman's Brazilian side.
