Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime vs. HTC One M8: Processor, Display Resolution and Cameras Compared
Watch out folks, it's the battle of the primes. We're talking about the Samsung Galaxy S5 prime and the HTC One (M8) prime that are both rumored to be making an appearance in the smart phone market sometime in the future.
So let's compare the similarities and differences between the two.
Load The Game reports that the HTC One (M8) will closely resemble its predecessor the HTC One (M8). One of the things that will differ is the M8 Prime's upgraded hardware and QHD screen. The 5.5. QHD display will include 2K resolution and 534ppi. It is rumored that the M8 Prime will be powered by a superior quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and partnered with 3GB of RAM.
Another feature of the new HTC device includes a 5 MP Ultra Pixel primary sensor along with an 18 MP secondary shooter. And not to worry folks, the new device will include the highly praised dual-camera setup already found on the HTC One (M8).
Now let's move on to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime device is also rumored to feature a QHD display with a high-resolution 1440x2560 pixel screen. It will come equipped with a super fast processor in the form of an octa-core Exynos 5430 processor running at 2.1 GHz.
Unlike the current standard Samsung Galaxy S5, the prime will showcase an updated metal body rather than Samsung's signature plastic body.
Although not much is known in regards to specs and detailed features to be included in the premium devices, consumers may not have to wait too long to see just how these devices turn out.
The HTC One (M8) Prime is rumored to be coming out in September of 2014 while the Samsung Galaxy S5's rumored release is in June of 2014.
