Brazil vs. South Africa Woman's Soccer Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Rio 2016 Olympics
The women's national teams from Brazil and South Africa close out their group stage on Tuesday at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The host nation has won its first two games in dominant fashion and has already clinched a spot in the next round of the tournament. A 3-0 win over China PR was followed by a 5-1 destruction of the Swedes. The team has gotten scoring throughout the lineup with five different goalscorers across both games. Christiane, Marta and Beatriz all have two goals in the tournament thus far.
South Africa's hopes of making out of the first round are dwindling but the team can yet hope to finish third in the group with a win over Brazil and a win from either China PR or Sweden. If those two sides manage a draw in that game, then South Africa is eliminated altogether. The team is likely hoping for a Chinese win to help South Africa in the goal differential department.
Prediction
Brazil will likely dominate South Africa in its final game by the score of 3-0.
Start Time
Brazil and South Africa kick off their match at 9 p.m. EDT.
