China vs. Sweden Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Rio 2016 Olympics Women's Soccer
The women's national teams from China and Sweden close out their group stage on Tuesday at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
China and Sweden are both tied with three points in the group stage, both having lost to Brazil and each side having picked up wins over South Africa. Yet China remains on top of the Sweden in the group by virtue of goal differential.
China lost 3-0 against Brazil in its opening game, an embarrassing effort against the host nation. Fortunately, the team managed a major bounce back in a 2-0 win over South Africa. Gu Yasha and Tan Ruyin were the goal scorers for the Chinese as they put themselves within one point of the next round.
Sweden kicked off the tournament with a 1-0 win over South Africa but its tournament went into a tailspin in a horrid 5-1 loss to Brazil in which the team managed to salvage a goal late in the tie.
Prediction
China manages a solid 2-1 win to clinch a spot in the second round of the tournament.
