Rio Olympics 2016: Brazil vs. Sweden Live Stream, Preview, Predictions
The women's nation teams from Brazil and Sweden face off in the semifinals of the Olympic games on Tuesday.
The Brazilian team has had a solid run in the tournament, though the team did play it close to the chest in a penalty shootout win over Australia in the quarterfinals. In a tight match, the host nation won 7-6 on penalties with star player Marta missing her attempt. Prior to that, the team won two of its first three and only drawn with South Africa in its final and meaningless group stage game. That group round including a 5-1 thumping of Sweden, the team's next opponent.
Sweden's fortunes have shifted with the team going from a marginal win over South Africa to a horrifying defeat over Brazil and finally a third-place finish in the group after a draw with China PR. Few expected Sweden to advance further when tasked with shutting down the USA, but the team managed it admirably and wound up winning in penalties.
Prediction
Brazil overcomes Sweden yet again, winning a tighter 3-1 contest.

The game between Brazil and Sweden kicks off at 12 p.m. on Tuesday.
