Porto vs. Roma Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Champions League 2016-17 First Leg
Porto and Roma face off in the first leg of the Champions League 2016-17 playoffs.
Both of these sides competed in the Champions League last season and had rather different results. Roma got lumped into a tricky group that included Barcelona, BATE Borisov and Bayer Leverkusen. The team managed just six points in the group stage, but also happened to tie with Barcelona and overcame Bayer Leverkusen on the road to the second round. But that was as far as Roma got as Real Madrid ousted the Italian side 4-0 over the course of two games.
Porto meanwhile was given a far less complicated group that included the likes of Chelsea, Dynamo Kyiv and Maccabi Tel Aviv. While the team did get 10 points from the group stage, which included three wins, one draw and two defeats, it finished third in the group and had to settle for a Europa League campaign. But the team's campaign was cut short very quickly by Borussia Dortmund, which defeated the Portuguese side 3-0 over the course of two legs.
Prediction
This should be a hotly contested match that ends in a 1-1 draw for both sides.
