Rio Olympics 2016 Final: Brazil vs. Germany Live Stream, Preview, Predictions, Schedule As Neymar Goes for Gold
The men's national teams from Brazil and Germany will face off on Saturday in the final at the Rio Olympics.
Four years ago Neymar and company reached this stage in their search for that elusive Gold Medal. The team came up short against Mexico, extending the wait for Brazil's first ever gold medal for more time.
The team got off to a rocky start in this tournament drawing its first two games 0-0. But after defeating Denmark 4-0 in the final group game, Brazil has been on fire with Neymar leading the way. The Barcelona superstar was at his best in the game against Honduras, scoring a goal in the opening 14 seconds of the game and punctuating a 6-0 rout with the final goal off a well-placed penalty kick.
As if the search for the elusive Gold Medal were not enough, this final has yet another narrative. Two years ago in the very stadium that will host this game (the Mineirao), Brazil was humbled 7-1 in the World Cup by Germany. This final is a chance to atone for that disaster against a side that has had a very solid tournament to date, growing stronger and stronger with each game.
Prediction
Look for Neymar to look for revenge on both fronts and lead Brazil to its first ever gold medal with a 2-0 win.

The match between Brazil and Germany kicks off at 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday August 20.
