While Fifa World Cups normally last one full month, Olympics take place throughout a span of two weeks and five days or 19 days, give or take. This was the case for Beijing 2008, London 2012 and now Rio 2016 which will have it's closing ceremony tomorrow, Sunday August 21 starting at 7:00 p.m eastern time. 2016 Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony Location and Start Times
The 2016 Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony and performances will take place the Maracana Stadium in Brazil, the same place that the Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony had taken place. The start times for the U.K. is 11:15 p.m. while in local Rio de Janeiro it'll be 8:00 p.m. People tuning in from the West Coast of the U.S. will have to set their alarms for 4:00 p.m. pacific standard time and those who are in Australia will catch it at 9:00 a.m., Monday morning however.

Kygo to Perform and Music at the Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony
Norwegian musician Kygo will perform his latest single “Carry Me,” at the 2016 Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony. Vocalist Julia Michaels will grace the stage with him.
“The opportunity to be part of the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Rio is a huge milestone in my career and will be the biggest performance of my life,” Kygo said. “I’ve been a sports fan forever.”
Event coordinators are playing the national anthem of Greece in Sunday night’s Closing Ceremony. Greece is the first country to ever host the Olympic Games.
The national anthem of Brazil will also be played, being that it is this year’s host country for the 2016 Olympics.

The best way to watch the Rio 2016 Closing Ceremony live is at the Maracana Stadium. The stadium can easily be accessed by train if you are already in the city. Ticket prices start at $715. Pay up to $3,200 for closer seats in this year’s farewell to 2016 Olympics champions and athletes.
