Ecuador vs. Brazil World Cup 2018 Qualifiers Live Stream, Preview, Predictions As Neymar Looks for First Goal
Brazil and Ecuador face off in a hotly anticipated CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifier on Thursday.
Ecuador has been the surprise of the qualifiers so far, sitting in a tie for first place after four straight wins to kick of the qualifiers. The team has fallen off a bit since then, drawing with Paraguay at home before being completely dismantled by Colombia in the most recent qualifiers back in March.
Brazil has also struggled in recent qualifiers, with its last win in the tournament coming back in November against Peru. Since then the team has had a pair of 2-2 draws with Uruguay and Paraguay. Neymar, recent winner of a Gold Medal with his nation, has yet to score a goal in this round of qualifiers. He will be hungry to score a goal in this game with Ecuador.
Brazil currently sits one point out of a qualifying spot.
Prediction
Neymar and Brazil should be the favorites, though Ecuador has been solid thus far in the tournament. Expect a 1-1 draw.
Start Time, Date, Location
Ecuador and Brazil kick off at 5 p.m EDT on Thursday in Quito, Ecuador.
