“American Horror Story” returns to FX on Sept. 14 and there are a full set of photos released to help you understand what the “AHS” Season 6 theme is. A few photos of the “AHS” set for Season 6 were leaked ahead of the premiere as well.

Giant spiders crawl under the skin of an unidentified corpse in the “American Horror Story” Season 6 teaser making your skin crawl.

American Horror Story Season 6 Photos

The show released a set of gruesome photos on the “AHS” Facebook Page, giving fans a taste of what is in store for the next season.

“We’re under your skin...” reads a caption for the skin-crawling picture of six spiders forming a line down a dead person’s back.

In another photo, six children stare into the camera with blurred faces as they stand in a cornfield.

“We’re waiting...” the photo captioned.

Next, a woman drags a pitch fork with six throngs across a wooden floor, leaving deep prints into the ground.

Then there is a creepy mummy crawling on a set of train tracks with the caption, “You can’t run from us...” Not surprisingly, the mummy is crotched down six tracks away from the camera’s view.

At last, “AHS” updated its cover photo of a woman with her head in a bathtub. Her long locs spread though the shallow water, forming the number six.

American Horror Story Season 6 Theme

Sending out photos with the number “6” surely has to be more than just the number of the next season. Speculation is that the “AHS” Season 6 theme will involve the Devil himself since his universal image is “666.”

“They (photos themes) all seem to look like classic horror movies to me,” Facebook User Chris Russell said. “Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Mummy, Rosemary’s Baby...So maybe the theme is Classic Horror.”

Other users saw that the photos looked like a continuation of previous “AHS” seasons hinting that this might be the installment that brings all the “American Horror Story” shows closer together.

“The deeper we go into the series – hopefully we’ll last decades and decades – you will see that there’s a definite universe and all the worlds are collided, sometimes in a very bizarre, interesting way,” Screenwriter Ryan Murphy said. “You will be seeing more and more of that as we go along.”

Tune into FX on Wednesday Sept. 14 for the “AHS” Season 6 premiere.
