Brazil vs. Colombia Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for World Cup Qualifiers As Neymar & James Rodriguez Face-Off
Brazil and Colombia meet in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday.
This rivalry has grown in intensity over the years since Brazil's 2-1 win in the quarterfinals of the 2014 World Cup. That game featured an injury to Neymar that took him out of the balance of the tournament. A year later tempers flared as Colombia defeated Brazil 1-0 in the group stage of the Copa America. Neymar was given a red card for poor misconduct in that game. Tempers flared when Brazil and Colombia met last month in the Olympics with Brazil coming out on top.
Both teams are very much in the mix of these qualifiers with both sides coming off dominant wins. Colombia should have won by more than 2-0 against Venezuela while Brazil destroyed Ecuador 3-0.
Climate could play a role here as the Arena da Amazonia is known for the humid temperatures that could prove overwhelming for both teams.
Prediction
This should be an invigorating game. Look for Brazil to come out on top at home with a 2-1 win.
