Chile and Bolivia meet in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday.

Chile had a tremendous summer as the Champions of the Copa America for the second straight year. And yet the team was played off the park against Paraguay in its recent qualifier. The 2-1 defeat was so damaging that Chile is currently out of a qualifying spot heading into the game on Tuesday. The team, which currently sits in seventh is just two point behind second place and four off of the top spot, emphasizing just how tight the standings currently are.

Bolivia's hopes are diminishing by the second. The team has just six points despite a win over Peru in its recent qualifier. The team however is six points out of the playoff spot and would need to play some major catchup to have a chance of dreaming of a World Cup in 2018.

This game should feature two sides desperate for points, which could also lead to a major blowout one way or the other.
