Jamaica vs. Haiti Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for World Cup 2018 Qualifiers
Jamaica and Haiti face off in the World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday.
Both sides are already eliminated from contention and have nothing to really play for at this point in the tournament. Jamaica's 2-0 loss at Panama was essentially the elimination game with Jamaica needing a win to get level with the Panamanians and live another day.
But the team choked under pressure and on the road and the result is yet another year without a World Cup participation. Jamaica's only performance in the tournament came in 1998 when it managed one win and two defeats on route to a 22nd place finish in the tournament.
Haiti has one point from five games and has yet to score a single goal in the qualifiers. The team has never qualified for the World Cup but always manages a way to get to this stage of qualifiers without having any major impact.
The last time these teams met, Jamaica won 1-0 in Haiti.
Prediction
This is likely to be a rather tepid affair with only pride on the line. Jamaica is the superior side and should come away with a 1-0 win at home.
Start Time, Date, Location
Jamaica and Haiti kick off at 9:30 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.
