That's because nobody likes their rides to be stolen in the physical, natural world. But when it comes to the digital, pixel pushing world, lookout. That's because everyone becomes a criminal in Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto universe.

Of course the series is most famous for its console versions, but Vice City and San Andreas are two GTA ports available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Vice City and San Andreas were first released for the original Xbox and PlayStation 2. If you're counting, that is two console generations ago.

The mobile versions actually improve upon the console versions in several ways. The graphics have been cleaned up and enhanced quite nicely. To get the best experience though you'll need to play the game on either an iPhone 5 or fourth generation iPad or newer. The audio quality also seems to have been polished, but we can't definitively say that.

Want a more modern GTA experience? A newer title, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is also available for Apple phones and tablets. It has beautiful cell-shaded graphics.

And if you hate the touchscreen controls, which contribute to the wonky driving mechanics and less than desirable shooting accuracy on display, go ahead and pick up an Apple certified MiFi gamepad like the MOGA ACE POWER. Then pair it up with the Bluetooth on your phone and you're good to go.

Another feature worth highlighting is the fact that you can override Vice City and San Adreas' car radio and blast your own music.

To play any Rockstar Games app you'll need a Rockstar Games Social Club membership. It's free, but the experience isn't all the great. However, once you're logged in you should be good to go.
