FC Copenhagen and Club Brugge meet in the Champions League 2016-17 group stage on Tuesday.

Both teams entered the tournament as the minnows of the group and neither side did much to change that perspective in their respective games.

Club Brugge was playing host to Leicester City but wound up pummeled in a 3-0 result that confirmed what most prognosticated entering the tournament.

Copenhagen went against the current a bit and overcame a 1-0 deficit against Porto to earn a draw in Portugal. That result came about from the team's ability to constantly exploit the shaky defense of the Portuguese contingent. The team's goal came about as a result of that very poor defense with Porto's goalie Iker Casillas also coming out at the wrong time to prevent the goal.

Of course Copenhagen was also the beneficiary of poor finishing from Porto and could have suffered a worse fate.

Prediction

Copenhagen looked solid in its Champions League debut and should be primed to win this match 1-0.
