Saudi Arabia vs. Australia Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for World Cup Qualifiers 2018
Saudi Arabia and Australia face off in the World Cup Qualifiers 2018 on Thursday.
Both sides sit atop Group B in the qualifiers with two wins from both games. The winner of this match undeniably becomes as close to a shoe-in as there can be.
Australia's opener was a 2-0 win over Iraq at home. The team then traveled to the United Arab Emirates to defeat the UAE 1-0.
Saud Arabia kicked off its tournament with a 1-0 win at home against Thailand. The team then went into Iraq and put up an impressive performance. Down 1-0 throughout the game, the team launched a comeback that featured two goals in the final 10 minutes of the game.
Australia is looking to qualify for its fourth straight World Cup dating back to 2006. The team made the round of 16 that year but has been among the worst sides in the two more recent tournaments. The team finished fourth in Group B of the 2014 tournament in a group that featured Spain, Chile and the Netherlands.
Saudi Arabia has competed in four World Cups, most famously in 1994 when it made it out of the group stage and finished 12th in the tournament. The team played in the 1998, 2002 and 2006 editions of the tournament but failed to get out of its group on both occasions. The team has not made it to the tournament since.

Australia is the bonafide favorite in this group and should have little trouble overcoming Saudi Arabia, even on the road. The Socceroos wins 3-2.
