Portugal vs. Andorra Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for World Cup 2018 Qualifiers As Cristiano Ronaldo Looks To Help Euro 2016 Champs Refind Form
Portugal and Andorra face off in the World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.
Portugal's campaign got off to a rough start as the reigning Euro 2016 champs were humbled 2-0 in their first qualifier against Switzerland. Group B is not seen as particularly difficult, with the likes of Faroe Islands, Andorra, Latvia and Hungary the other four opponents for the Swiss and Portuguese. Yet the Iberian side is now at the bottom of the group and needs to put together a strong string of performances to get back in top form.
Fortunatley the team will get back Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been terrific in games against smaller sides.
Andorra lost its first game at home 1-0 against Latvia.
Only one side automatically qualifies from the group in the UEFA Qualifiers. The second place team must endure a two-legged playoff with another second place side for a chance to compete in Russia.
Prediction
The defending Euro champs will not be shut down and Ronaldo will be too hungry to score goals for his country in what will be a solid 4-0 win.
