Virgin Galactic to build sexy hotel in space; Will Sir Richard Branson pull it off?
With everyone having their own dreams and goals to achieve, it looks like Richard Branson has a vision for his future airlines. We all know him as the founder of the Virgin group. This time, the business magnate wants to build hotels in space. Will this be a day dream or could he really pull it off?
According to Mashable, Branson stated that he would like to have sexy Virgin hotels in space where people can go and stay in pods. Branson believes in connecting people to the world and states that if one is not connected then they are held back massively.
With a dream that is long but not too long into the future, he aims that one hundred years from now, Virgin Galactic will operate space hotels. These hotels will be providing tourists with luxury orbiting pods and options to take side trips around the moon, as reported on Inverse.
Virgin Galactic's boss would love to take people to Mars one day, and he believes that he could do so. With new discoveries in space every mission, it seems like it will eventually come true. Even though people would like to go to Mars, Branson states that there is a whole load of work that needs to be done first on earth.
Branson has also a dream that will benefit everyone. He believes that there should be a big array of satellites around the earth that will help to connect the five billion people who do not have internet access or wifi.
With all his dreams to be achieved Branson will definitely love to see space tourism. Not only does the English businessman want to achieve his lofty dreams, he also wants to make them affordable. This could be enjoyable, flying in space with sexy hotels and taking a tour around the moon. For all we know it can happen soon in the near future.
