Pacific Rim 2 Hits Movie Theatres In 446 days; Charlie Hunnam Out, John Boyega In?
"Pacific Rim 2" has some new details to its fan. it's been rumoured that it will be coming forth soon. There will be introduction of new characters and deletion of some old one.
CinemaBlend reports, out of which is the omission of Charlie Hunnam. He was playing the character of Raleigh Beckett in the first film and will not take over the role anymore due to scheduling issues. He has a lot of work lined up with the finishing of "Sons of Anarchy", and to star in the 2017, "King Arthur".
According to ScreenRant, the release date is on february 23, 2018. There has been many new cast that has been assigned by the Director Steven S. DeKnight to the movie. Also strong indications given by Del Toro suggest that the fans will see the return of Charlie Day's Kaiju obsessed Dr. Newton Geiszler and Burn Gorman Gottlieb.
It looks like there's a lot of excitement for the fans with the new cast on the movie. Maisie Williams from HBO series "Game of Thrones" and "Suicide Squad" star Scott Eastwood are expected in the mix.
There is an unspecific role for "True Detective and "Emerald City" star Adria Arjona who will join in the production of "Pacific Rim 2" and also there will be an addition of the "Aftermath" actor Levi Meaden. As for the lead role, it would be "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor John Boyega and Singer Cailee Spaeny who will take the lead female role.
"Pacific Rim 2" is the sequel to the hit sci-fi flick "Pacific Rim". It is based on the sequel of the world created by Guillermo del Toro and Travis Beacham The action adventure film will be produced by Thomas Tull, Mary Parent, Jon Jashni, and del Toro along with Boyega and Femi Oguns under their Upper Room Productions banner. Cale Boyter will serve as executive producer.
