"The Walking Dead" has big news as its network announces that the show will be renewed to a Season 8. Season 7 has not yet begun and is said to premier its first Episode on October 23rd.

With just a week ahead for the Season 7 premier, the 8th Season is said to kick off the series 100th Episode as per E News, AMC tweeted that it will debut in the late 2017.

The president of AMC, Charlie Collier, in a statement said that it is a joy to partner with Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, and other hardworking people who put an effort to bring out "The Walking Dead" to its fans

In the last season, Negan claimed the life of one of the main characters; the show has kept the fans eagerly waiting for Season 7, according to Gamespot.

Actor Jeffery Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, admitted in an interview that even he was unaware who the victim was while he was shooting those scenes. He said that nobody told him anything and he certainly did not know until he was about to shoot the scene.

Everyone is obsessed with the news of "The Walking Dead" - AMC's zombie show has drawn the attraction of many fans and continues to do so. Season 7 is believed to have unexpected scenes and loads of surprises.

New characters will be introduced and the wait is not over with Season 7, the first Episode will be aired on Sunday October 23, followed by a 90 minute live episode of "Talking Dead."

The host for the show will be Chris Hardwick and the cast members from Negan's line up, which will be broadcast from Hollywood Forever Cemetery. "The Walking Dead" is sure to return with Season 8.
