One of the biggest questions left unanswered in Star Wars: The Force Awakens was Rey's origins. Although seen in the desert planet of Tattooine, a mysterious flashback she gets when exposed to The Force gave vague hints about her parentage. In an interview, Daisy Ridley who plays Rey in the movie provides fans with some of the answers they hope to hear.

Many have theorized that her parents could be among the film's current main characters such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and even Obi-wan Kenobi, given her attire, tenacity for Jedi mind tricks and solitary nature. With many fans speculating on these theories, Daisy Ridley has also been asked what she thinks about this mystery.

'We will see in a year. Just sit tight on that question', Daisy tells Vulture when asked if we'll find out her parents in Episode 8.

According to Metro UK, Daisy was quick to deny, however, that Jyn Erso, the main character of "Star Wars: Rogue One: played by Felicity Jones, is Rey's mother. Daisy says that in the "Star Wars" timeline, Jyn Erso existed the same time Darth Vader existed, so she would be up to four generations older than Rey.

Apparently, Daisy is also being kept in the dark and is just as excited for the ending as fans are.

Currently, Daisy is working on the documentary "The Eagle Huntress" as the producer and narrator. The film follows a 13-year old Mongolian girl who becomes the country's first eagle hunter.

The daring actress even shared that she had recently come face to face with a wolf during a moonlit hike outside of Los Angeles. She reckons that her close relationship with wild animals has helped her with her latest venture.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the eighth movie in the Star Wars franchise hits cinemas on December 15.
