Bad girl actress Michelle Rodriguez came out as bisexual in September. Now, the "Fast & Furious 6" actress is sharing what it feels like to be under the same Hollywood spotlight but on a different team.

Yesterday, the actress who gained fame as Ana Lucia on "Lost" and other roles, appeared at a benefit for the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center. It was her first LGQBT event since telling the world she is bisexual.

According to Rodriguez, however, announcing her bisexuality in Entertainment Weekly has not affected her too personally.

"It's cool man, I mean whatever," she told Gay Star News. "I'm not big on people's opinions, you know?"

Ever tough and confident, the 35-year-old actress revealed that her emotions aren't swayed by just anyone.

"Unless it's somebody I really respect, I don't care what people out there have to say," she continued.

Still, Rodriguez recognizes the struggle many people encounter when coming out of the closet.

"But I do realize the importance of having the bravery to live as who you are, and I feel like a lot of people don't have that bravery," she added.

Rodriguez hopes her bold move will help others make the transition.

"Maybe by me opening my big fat mouth like I usually do and stepping up and owning who I am, maybe it might inspire somebody else to do the same," Rodriguez said.

After the fundraiser, Rodriguez served as the celebrity DJ for the after party, An Evening With Women, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and hosted by Linda Perry.

"Linda hit me up and told me what she's been doing for a whole bunch of years, and I wanted to come check it out," Rodriguez said on the red carpet.

It's no surprise that Rodriguez isn't too phased by being a bisexual celebrity; her first announcement was pretty nonchalant as well.

"I do as I please," she said back in September. "I am too f**king curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks."

Rodriguez can be seen in "Fast & Furious 7" when it hits theaters April 10, 2015.
