New Loch Ness monster spotted in Alaskan river? [VIDEO]
Craig McCaa, District Office Public Affairs Specialist, captured a viral video of something that is moving on the Chena River in Fairbanks, Alaska. The video has earned nearly 300,000 views and strong comments with many people comparing this "mysterious object" to the legendary Nessie monster in Scotland.
On October 18, Public official specialist Craig McCaa has walked with his camera to snap some pictures of ice forming towards the University Avenue bridge. At the time of crossing the bridge, he noticed in the current of the murky river some 'mysterious thing' moving back and forth.
In an interview on Tuesday he said," It never fully revealed itself". McCaa described he saw a 12-to-15-foot-long object moving back and forth for several times when he was down the river on October 18. But the noticeable things in this video are a few pieces of moving ice.
According to Alaska Dispatch News, McCaa took the video and posted it to the Bureau of Land Management- Alaska official Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon. Till evening the video had been watched by about 20,900 peoples. What is the creepy object, creature- swaying in the water? Speculation has run rampant on this.
After seeing this video, some viewers were amazed while others guessed it might be garbage or some other form of aquatic life in the river. McCaa who has lived in Fairbanks since 1994, said," Whatever is under the water is never fully revealed itself" and he has yet to show it to BLM biologists to get their view.
With some minor alterations to the video- it's slightly sped up, some minor sound effects added- but whatever is under the water is not revealed, as reported by People.
Still, some speculation is in this video. But some people have mentioned it from a sea monster to giant sturgeon.
