Heavy drinking will have series of consequences later in life
Alcohol is one of the most consumed substances in the world. Its consumption depends on many factors like culture and trends. Europe is said to be a heaven of alcoholic drinks in terms of production and consumption per capita as well. Thousands of people die because of alcohol every year. But a research is giving a reality check to the alcoholics with serious causes.
The recent studies and research findings have given the drinkers a reason to be worried for especially teenagers. The new findings indicate that the teens who are having drinking habits will suffer from the health problems in their 60's.
According to WebMd, the non-alcoholics young adults suffer less lately in their life as compared to teenagers with drinking problems. Teenagers are attracting towards the drinking habit in numbers these days, sometimes to show off, which is a part of the trend and sometimes to deal with emotional stress.
The drinkers are more prone to depression, heart diseases, diabetes, stress, blood pressure etc. It also said that even after quitting the drinking habits after heavy alcoholics, it doesn't prevent it from hurting the brain and body after 50's and 60's. People with alcohol dependence still be caught in health problems after quitting but effects might be reduced till the time.
Health records of the 600 US veterans, especially male are considered by the researchers to have closed a look of the effects which includes both drinkers and nondrinkers. What will be the other effects in the future, which are not known yet.
Research also found that alcoholic in adulthood had, on average, three medical conditions in their 60's, while non-drinkers have two reports, Health Day. Drinking will affect their parts of the brain, which will hurt alcoholics, later.
The findings gave a warning signal to every age person especially parents to mentor their children.
