I recently had the opportunity to catch up and chat with TV personality and beauty queen Alejandra Espinoza.

Espinoza, like many other Hispanics that have immigrated to the United States, came to this country to create a better life for her and her family. Espinoza's first job was as a cashier at a fast-food restaurant. Through her work and perseverance, she later on transformed herself into a national beauty queen by winning the first season of the beauty competition "Nuestra Belleza Latina."

Understanding the experience of other Hispanics in the U.S. who come to work hard and improve their lives, Espinoza recently became the face of Allstate's "Viviendo en Buenas Manos" campaign. According to the beauty queen, "Viviendo en Buenas Manos" is a forum where consumers can share their life journeys and celebrate their stories of trials and triumphs.

"We want to show that Hispanics [in the U.S] are fighters. We fight to overcome the challenges we face to make better lives for ourselves," said Espinoza.

The campaign highlights the struggles and successes of Hispanics in the U.S., and by sharing those experiences, organizers look to engage and inspire others to continue following their dreams. As a treat to consumers, the "Viviendo En Buenas Manos" campaign is hosting a Facebook sweepstakes where a lucky winner will have the opportunity to meet Espinoza. To enter, fans can visit the Allstate Latino Facebook page and share their inspirational stories. Those who post will have the chance to win a meet and great with the Hispanic beauty.

Besides her work on this recent campaign, Espinoza is still fulfilling her hosting duties on the TV programs "El Gordo y La Flaca" and "Nuestra Belleza Latina." As a matter of fact, last week, Espinoza was nominated for an Emmy for Daytime talent in Spanish for her work for "El Gordo y La Flaca."
