No Surface Pro 5 until 2017: Rumored Specs, Features And Release Date
The biggest question in everyones mind is when is the Surface Pro 5 coming? Well, its not still mentioned in any of the Windows events when it's going to be launched officially.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is a new desktop PC and right now it's just a rumour. The possible release date of the all new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected in 2017.
The next big Windows 10 update isn't coming until Spring 2017, and the speculation is that Microsoft will hold back the Surface hardware untill the update comes.
As fa as specification concern of upcoming Surface Pro 5 it's expected to come with the latest generation of Intel Processor, some rumors says it will come with sixth-generation Skylake chip and some are suggesting with Kaby Lake.
In a report of Tech Advisor suggests the Surface Pro 5 will be equipped with a 2K screen but there is also a probability of getting a 4K model for those who are willing to splash the cash.
It will also come up with an upgraded 16 GB Ram, the Surface Pro 5 could be the first in the range to get a USB-C port rather than the USB 3.0 port on the Pro 4. Furthermore, an AMD or Nvidia Pascal GPU is expected to help power the unit.
Cameras are the other components to see for upgrades anyhow Microsoft will work on the upgradation of camera, along with that the latest version of Wi-Fi hopefully MU-MIMO will be supported in the new Surface Pro 5.
News Everyday has published a report that the Surface Pro 5 Core will start at $899, price an Intel Core i7 model at $999, and offer an i7 Extreme version for $1,599.
All though Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to be released sometime in second or third month of 2017, it is possible that another unveiling event can takes place within the second quarter of next year.
