Apple iPhone 8 may sport new form factor, dumps bezel design?
Tech industry experts reported that the Apple might have two more smartphones lined up for 2017, both the phones will feature with curved and border-less designs.
Analysts from Barclays Research said that the tech giant company is looking to discard the traditional design for its upcoming 5" and 5.8" iPhone units.
While the design of iPhone 8 is not yet confirmed the analysts believe that it could feature a bezel-less look with curved edges with a larger display compared with the original iPhone design.
According to a report in Tech Times, the 5.8'' iPhone will be the only one which offers OLED display feature, which will give a sharper and brighter screen to the phone. This will also allow the new handset to have a more energy efficient display compared to the earlier ones.
Rumors says iPhone 8 would have no Home button unlike all the iPhone series, the new iPhone 8 can come with glass casing and curved OLED screen in 2017.
As per a report in News Everyday, Robert Scoble said that the iPhone 8 and 8 plus will have a clear glass case, which will give a very shine any crystal clear look to the phone, and this would be made from Gorilla Glass combined with poly-carbonates for better durability of the smartphone.
It was reported before, that Samsung and LG were tapped to supply OLEDs to Apple for one year, then to be joined by Foxconn-owned Sharp by the end of 2017.
The Rumors also suggest that the company's upcoming handset will share a number of designs similar with Xiaomi's Mi Combine, which will features a slight bezel look on the backside of the unit.
But all these are still a speculation from different researchers and analysits, it's better to wait for the Apple launch event and let them disclose the features of upcoming Apple iPhone 8.
