'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 8 Spoilers: Mole's identity soon to be revealed; Chris O'Donnell teased script pretty clever
The mole is soon to be revealed in the remaining episodes of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 and actor Chris O'Donnell just dropped a few words regarding the highly-anticipated result of the investigation. He said the script is really clever and the viewers will be shocked.
"It's really clever, the way they did it, and it's not fully resolved yet, but we are starting to get a peek at who the mole may actually be," O'Donell said to TV Guide.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" primarily focused on uncovering the mole working within the agency. The mission became very catastrophic for the team leading to Hetty (Linda Hunt) sacrificing her leadership position and also to the grave injury received by Kensi (Daniela Ruah). To the relief of fans, this mole's identity will finally be uncovered in a few episodes.
O'Donnell further teased, "I think it'll be shocking for the fans. There's some twists and turns that you really did not see coming. Having been around for 180 shows, I usually know what to expect, and this one was pretty clever."
O'Donnell does not offer much any indications about the identity of the mole, but the synopsis of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 10 titled "Sirens" pretty much revealed that the team will get a new lead on their ongoing investigation, as reported by Movie News Guide. The NCIS team will get a new witness as Nell (Renee Felice Smith) get an inmate to testify his knowledge about the possible identity of the highly-pursued mole. As further reported, the team will meet a woman assassin who is likely to offer information about the mole in the department.
The investigation seems to be progressing so well, but will O'Donnell's G. Callen might finally forgive and trust his father? The actor offers, "I think he's getting there, and they take some big steps in [previous] episode, but I think they still have some work to do."
"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 10 airs November 27 on CBS. Stay tuned for more updates!
