Angelina Jolie did not invite Brad Pitt for Thanksgiving? 'Allied' actor crushed
The Brangelina era is over, and one thing that divorced couples should get through is spending holidays apart. Sadly for Brad Pitt, it seems that he will be spending the Thanksgiving's Day away from his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, and his six children.
As recent events turned out, the "Allied" actor will not be sharing his turkey with Jolie and their children. Pitt is currently traveling across countries to promote his new film, but no news, however, if he will make time for the holiday and what his plans this year.
Things will be different for Pitt this time, a report of US Magazine suggested that the 52-year-old actor is not welcome to Jolie's kitchen. A source of the news outlet revealed: "Angelina did not invite Brad to spend Thanksgiving with their kids."
Before the split, Pitt and Jolie made it a tradition to always spend holidays together despite their busy schedules. While he was busy promoting his film "The Big Short" last year, Pitt made time to go home and spend Thanksgiving with his family. In 2015, he happily divulged to Extra he is not afraid to get into the kitchen, further saying, "Yeah, I'll get in there, I'll mess it up a little bit. We got Thanksgiving, man - I'm all over that turkey."
Jolie opted to end her marriage with Pitt last September due to reasons not fully divulged to the public but news reports suggested that the divorce was because of Pitt's alleged child abuse on Maddox, 15. Although the actor has been cleared of the allegation, he is still fighting with Jolie for the legal and physical joint custody of Maddox, Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), and twins Knox and Vivienne (8).
As further reported in the source magazine, Pitt has only seen his children three times ever since Jolie filed for divorce. An insider of the publication further revealed: "He's crushed." Pitt can visit the children through monitored visits, but a representative from Jolie's side claimed that the kids did not warm up to him.
