The Chinese company confirmed the launch of the new OnePlus 3T, but also announced that the company will continue to sell OnePlus 3. Considering the fact that OnePlus 3 is just five month old in the market but already received an upgrade in the form of OnePlus 3T, it would be interesting to see how the company is going to manage the sale of both variants in India.

Though OnePlus 3T perfectly looks like the previous OnePlus 3 model, the company made plenty of changes to the upgraded device to better suit Xiaomi enthusiasts. The new variant packs an all new Snapdragon 821Soc processor, which will allow the device to run smoothly.

OnePlus 3T is also equipped with a bumped front camera, while sporting 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX398 image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Phase detection Auto-focus and Optical Image stabilization feature. OnePlus 3T's camera also comes with 4K video recording capacity.

BGR reported that the device is also equipped with a powerful 3,400mAh battery, a quick responsive fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and an Alert slider on the side. The device's connectivity option supports dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. In terms of the device's operating system, OnePlus 3T runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but can be easily upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat later this year.

The OnePlus 3T smartphone has given a modest price hike as it was already launched in the U.S., while Europe user will get their hands on the device starting on Saturday. OnePlus 3T, which comes in Gunmetal and Soft Gold colors, is priced at $439 but will soon go on sale in selected countries.
