Amazon working on a new Echo speaker with a 7-inch touch screen device? Check here for details
Recently, Amazon- one of the biggest e-commerce company in the world is currently working on "premium Echo-like speaker" with a 7-inch touch screen display, as reported in Yahoo Finance.
In this report, it was revealed that the new Echo speaker will have its partnership with Amazon's Alexa digital assistant- similar to the present Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, and Tap speakers. Moreover, the touch screen will have lots of benefits such as having a quicker access to personal information like weather forecasts and schedule on the calendar.
Reports also say that this would look like a fusion of the Echo and the popular product of Amazon which is the Fire tablet. This device will also have an optimized version of Fire OS which is the Amazon's operating system for such tablets. Well as we can recall, Amazon just released an update on their software in the late October. Through this, it has brought ALexa to the newer version of Fire tablets.
On the other hand, it was reported in Bloomberg that one of its competitor companies, Google has just released its own Echo- Google Home.
As reported in PC World, Bloomberg's Marc Gurman has revealed that Amazon's Lab126 was working on a voice-activated and tablet-like computer screen. There may be no specific descriptions or official announcement from Amazon regarding the new device of Amazon, but it will resemble like the Amazon's Fire tablet than the Echo previously.
The ideal set up would be an Alexa-powered smart device with a touch screen for the kitchen or just the living room. It will be such a good thing for people who wants to call up if what will be the weather today or tomorrow. Moreover, mothers who have busy hands in the kitchen can still view recipe online.
This can be an amazing device in the future so stay tuned for more updates here in Latin Post.
