Previously, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her estranged wife Brad Pitt, arguing that he's incapable of enjoying the company of their kids. While other families - celebrities included, happily celebrated Thanksgiving, Brad had a sorrowful one as he was reportedly "sad and frustrated" after spending the holiday without his six children.

On September 19, rumors spread that Brad had a heated argument with his eldest son Maddox, 15, which prompted Jolie to end their marriage. The "Brangelina" couple have seven other children: Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

According to US Weekly, Maddox and his siblings celebrated Thanksgiving in their mother's place in Los Angeles, California, while Brad had a "Friendsgiving" in Turks and Caicos Islands. They added that their children approved the guest list upon celebrating Thanksgiving and did not demand the appearance of Brad on said event. One of his friends said that Angelina made the decision alone and could've invited Brad if she preferred to do so.

Following allegations that Pitt hit one of his kdis aboard their private plane, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and the FBI absolved him of any wrongdoing due to insufficient evidence. Yet despite that, Angelina still decided to keep their kids away from Brad.

The insider describes that everything that had happened was in Angelina's accordance, and that Brad is currently having a difficult time. Rumors say that Brad only wanted to have shared custody over their children, but on September 19, Angelina filed a divorce and a request for full custody, according to Inquisitr.

TMZ's reported that the reason why Angelina filed for divorce is to prevent Pitt's problem with weed, alcohol, and anger management from affecting their kids. Angelina highly doubted that such would actually be resolved, hence her decision.

Nonetheless, reports abound that the kids aren't actually happy about the divorce, hence contradicting Angelina's reason behind it. The kids reportedly want to live normal lives again, with their family intact.
