Episode 6 of the 18th season of "The Vampire Diaries" aired last December 02 entitled "Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path To Hell," which has been quoted back from the past episode as the one where the tomb vampires capture Stefan, a storm hits Mystic Falls, and Caroline accidentally discovers Vicki's body.

In the recap of Entertainment Weekly, Caroline is in the search to finding Lizzie and Josie, her two girls, who are currently eating at a diner with Seline. Seline plans to offer the twins to Cade in exchange for their long-lost freedom, but because of Sybil's escape, she has been uncovered.

Meanwhile, Caroline insists that Stefan shouldn't be there to rescue the girls. Seeing it, that Damon might be there with her is an anticipated danger.

Then Enzo gets a call from Damon whom Sybil uses to dive down deep to his subconscious. Stefan went through Enzo's mind, and he could clearly see everything - Sybil is slowly killing Enzo by removing all his insides. With all that, Stefan paves his way to the first clue.

When Caroline and Ric get to the diner, the girls are already gone. They're on the back of a minivan, taking an afternoon nap while Damon gets more details on Seline's plan.

Seline has long been searching for the perfect offering for Cade, and the way the girls trust her, it wouldn't be a hard way to persuade and get them into her plans. Once Cade has new servants, the Siren sisters will be free from hell. Damon, with his horrible idea, wants to summon Cade.

Back in Mystic Falls, Stefan is once again inside Enzo's mind where he stops Sybil from killing Bonnie's one true love. Damon on Sybil has an idea, and she tells Stefan to come to the motel alone to hear her offer. Then Enzo wakes up to find Bonnie in great relief and happiness.

As reported in TV Fanatic, Stefan leads Ric and Caroline off track so he can go alone. Just as the girls help summon Cade, Sybil gets every human at the motel to try to kill Stefan.

Reminding him of all his dark side, Stefan agrees to Damon's deal. In exchange of his soul and Stefan's are Sybil's freedom and the twins to be coming home safely to their parents. Stefan agreed to Damon's offer, and the girls are saved.
