The team brought down the human trafficking ring once and for all on the latest episode of "The Mentalist."

In "Black Hearts," the team finds out that the girls who were murdered by the human trafficking group are having their organs harvested. The FBI decides to interrogate the Qasimi brothers, who are already behind bars, but the team finds them both murdered in their cells.

The team soon discovers that a surgeon who had his medical license revoked has his DNA in an abandoned medical warehouse where organs used to be transplanted. The team chases him down and takes him into custody.

He's interrogated back at the station, and divulges who is leading the horrific trafficking ring: a man by the name of Ridley. The ex-surgeon tells them that Ridley uses the profits from human trafficking to create legitimate businesses.

Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) confront Ridley, and tell him that thirty abducted women were found in a truck owned by his company.

The team then discovers that the surgeon hanged himself in his jail cell.

The FBI enlists Jane to create a devious plan to get information on Ridley to put him behind bars, and therefore take down the trafficking ring.

Jane drugs and kidnaps Ridley, and takes him to the abandoned medical warehouse.

Jane and Lisbon pose as surgeons, and pretend to kill one of Ridley's henchmen, Anthony, in front of him. They then threaten to kill Ridley as well.

Ridley gives up and gives them access to all of his computer files, which have information on the missing girls.

Once Ridley is taken into custody, he tells the FBI that Jane and Lisbon tortured and killed Anthony. They then show him video footage of Anthony alive in his jail cell. It's revealed that the team used their fellow colleague to lay on the gurney and pretend to be murdered.

Meanwhile, Lisbon scores a job in D.C. in preparation for her move to the nation's capitol with Agent Pike (Pedro Pascal). After she agrees to move to Washington, Pike asks for her hand in marriage.

On the upcoming season finale, "Blue Bird," a new lead in a cold case surfaces, forcing Lisbon to postpone her plans to relocate, and this delay allows Jane to examine his feelings for her and decide how to proceed."
