The latest superhero "Aquaman" finally has its official release date on October 5, 2018. Get to know the whole cast, screenplay, and plot of this newest film.
CBR reported that this new Warner Bros. film would swim in the big screen on a confirmed date of October 5, 2018. "Aquaman" will be the fourth upcoming DC Comics-based feature film with a solid release date after "Wonder Woman" on June 2, 2017, "Justice League," on November 17, 2017, and "The Flash" this March 16, 2018.
The lead star of "Aquaman" is Jason Momoa who already starred in Hollywood's famous movies. Some are the 2014 "Road to Paloma," "Bullet to the Head" on 2012 with Sylvester Stallone, and his last movie is "The Bad Batch" on 2016. The lead female role is Amber Heard as Mera who starred on "The Danish Girl" in 2015 and "3 Days to Kill" last 2014. Likewise, the veteran actor who had been Green Goblin, the villain of "Spider-Man" Willem Dafoe joins the main cast as Vulko.
The storyline will start when Arthur Curry learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. He will step forward to lead his people and at the same time, take a job to be one of the heroes of the world as "Aquaman," as per IMDb.
Base from the comics, "Aquaman" becomes a superhero by heritage. "Aquaman" further discovery as the youth his various superhuman abilities. His powers include surviving underwater, communication with sea life, and great swimming prowess. From Arthur Curry, he finally decided to step to be "Aquaman" the Defender of the Earth's oceans.
Meanwhile, the screenplay of the movie is led by Will Beall, David Leslie Johnson, and Kurt Johnstad. "Aquaman" is expected another most promising superhero movie just like the Justice League. Accordingly, in 2017, Jason Momoa is set to join the cast of the new "Justice League" movie, which might introduce "Aquaman."
As of now, the release date of "Aquaman" has still no competition from Marvel or Disney. Aside from "Aquaman," Warner Bros. set another film for October 19, 2018, the new "Jungle Book."
